Muhuhahahahahaha!
July
12, 2004 -
Oh my goodness, what a huge list we have! Keep sending in those
updates, PLEASE!!
December 1, 2003
- Site goes live for the first time with the initial list of college
broadcasters. Over the next 12 months the list of college broadcast
systems will increase to an expected 2,500 outlets.
November 12, 2003 - Beta
site launches, spelling mistakes abound.
October 1, 2003 - Campus
Party, Inc. passes the baton. We'd like to thank the team at CampusParty®
for their generous contributions of time, money and resources to
get this project off the ground. In exchange for their contributions
we've layed out a three year program that aims to turn college media
on its head.
August 23, 2003 - Initial
brainstorming session with the executive board at CampusParty®.
We shared a vision to re-invent the way broadcast media is bought
and sold in the advertising world. Lightyears ahead of the pack,
we agreed to further explore the future of college media and see
if it could become more impactful and less expensive for the players
involved. As the national leader in college media CampusParty®
has sought to keep driving prices down for the end user, more in
line with what the schools actually charge... they welcomed the
meeting.
July 15, 2003 - Historically
college media companies have abused the 'little guy' by reselling
their media at outrageous prices, often doubling the cost of the
media. While the 'big boys' beat up on the college media outlets
forcing the schools to offer huge discounts, the price of the media
at the client level continued to increase.
